What a Wednesday!

Once again we started the day off with a refreshing Polar Bear Swim before eating breakfast. Upon leaving the dining hall, every camper got to pick out a custom super hero cape donated by “Capes for Kids”. The campers absolutely LOVED them!
Today was also DAY CAMPER DAY and we were lucky enough to have 3 day campers come and hang out with us today.

We also had agility & therapy dogs come to visit and put on an awesome show. They did some pretty neat tricks and were very sweet.

This afternoon, we were all treated to Bazo’s donated by Kyle’s Korner for Kids, which was delicious. Thank you Kyle! And then after lunch, cabins took part in an epic water fight, which Cabin 2 won. Some campers went and tried their hand at archery working towards the Davy Crockett award. It’s currently a very close contest.

After a yummy pasta dinner donated & served by St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, we waited for a quick storm to pass and enjoyed a fantastic ice cream sundae before heading down to the pool for our annual night swim. Thanks to the Shelby County Fire Department for bringing out flood lights to keep us safe.

We can’t believe it’s almost Thursday already, but then again- time does fly when you’re having fun!

Good night to all from ISC!
