What a better way to greet the day than with a quick hustle down to the pool for the Polar Bear swim. Jump out of a toasty bunk, don a swimsuit, and join the party at the pool. You will see shivers and warm smiles all around.
After a hearty breakfast, and med checks, each cabin had its choice of activities. Some choices turned out better than others. The Boys in Cabin 10 were schooled in the strategies of life size checkers by the Girls in Cabin 11 at the Activity Field. This is a single elimination tournament among the cabins …so stay tuned for news to come. Other choices included swimming/scuba, arts and crafts, archery, and fishing.
Lunchtime included awards for most fish caught, archery, and the girls in Cabin 4 won the cleanest cabin award.
Everyone enjoyed the original Indian Summer Camp life size “Candyland” board game at the activity field. The game includes giant dice, silly string, cream pies, and lots and lots of water. What’s not to like?
After dinner a number of campers braved the climbing wall, while Karaoke was featured in the dining hall. Note to Taylor Swift …. Your career is safe.
Stay tuned for updates from our field trip tomorrow!
